  1. What is the IDEXX Points Program?

    The IDEXX Points program is designed to continuously thank you for doing business with us and to make it easier to grow your practice. Through the IDEXX Points Program, you’ll earn valuable IDEXX Points on common testing protocols. Each IDEXX Point is worth one dollar toward the purchase of any IDEXX product or service, and the points add up fast! IDEXX Points can be saved and applied toward larger purchases, such as diagnostic instruments, digital imaging systems and practice information management systems. IDEXX Points may also be applied to your IDEXX Reference Laboratories invoice. Benefits include:

  2. How do we know how many IDEXX Points we have?

    You can view your IDEXX Points balance and statements through our password-protected account management service at idexx.com/points. Activating your online account is easy. Just call IDEXX Customer Support at 1-800-248-2483, and we will assist you with activation. Of course, if you ever have questions regarding how many IDEXX Points are in your account, you can call your IDEXX representative at 1-888-794-3399 or call IDEXX Customer Support.

     
  3. How do we use our IDEXX Points to buy something?

    You can redeem your IDEXX Points on any IDEXX product or service by calling IDEXX Customer Support at 1-800-248-2483. Simply tell us what you want to buy with your IDEXX Points, and we’ll do the rest.

     
  4. Do we have to save our IDEXX Points until we can cover the total cost of the item we want to purchase?

    No, you don’t have to save up until your IDEXX Points cover the full cost of an item. You can save your points, or you can apply any portion of your IDEXX Points balance toward the cost of an item, even if you don’t have the full amount.

     
  5. Do we have to keep track of our IDEXX Points activity?

    We track your points for you. You can check your IDEXX Points balance and access archived quarterly statements at idexx.com/points. For help activating your online account, please call 1-800-248-2483. You can always call your IDEXX representative at 1-888-794-3399 for up-to-date account information.

     
  6. Is there any paperwork involved?

    No paperwork is required to earn IDEXX points or to spend them on any IDEXX products or services. Just call 1-800-248-2483 and let us know what you want to do. We’ll take care of the rest.

     
  7. Is there a membership fee?

    No, there are no fees associated with IDEXX Points.

     
  8. What is an IDEXX Point worth?

    Each IDEXX Point is worth one dollar redeemable toward the purchase of any IDEXX product or service.

     
  9. How often are IDEXX Points deposited in our account?

    IDEXX Points are usually deposited during the month following the end of the program or rebate period in which they were earned.

     
  10. Do our IDEXX Points ever expire?

    Yes, IDEXX Points expire annually on November 30, two years after the points were earned. For example, points earned on February 20, 2015, will expire on November 30, 2017. (Points earned in any December will expire one year and 11 months after they were earned.) Points will be redeemed or expired in the order they were earned. If your practice has not made IDEXX purchases in a 12-month period, all points will expire and the IDEXX Points account will be closed.

     
  11. Who can answer questions about our account or statement?

    Your IDEXX representative (1-888-794-3399) and IDEXX Customer Support (1-800-248-2483) are available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

     
  12. Can we share an IDEXX Points account with another practice?

    Yes, multiple practices can pool points and share one IDEXX Points account. For more information, please consult the IDEXX Points Terms and Conditions.

     
  13. How do I enroll in the IDEXX Points program if I am not a U.S. customer

IDEXX Diagnostic Agreement Questions & Answers 

  1. What is the IDEXX Diagnostic Agreement?

    The IDEXX Diagnostic Agreement is a flexible program designed to make it easier to grow your practice. Based on the instruments you have purchased, we’ll set a monthly threshold of IDEXX profiles to be run in-house or at the reference laboratory, or a monthly volume commitment of qualifying consumable purchases and IDEXX Reference Laboratories testing services. As long as you meet the threshold number each month, there will be no instrument-related costs.

    At the time of lease signing, your practice can opt to add a SNAPshot Dx® Analyzer, Coag Dx® Analyzer and/or IDEXX VetLab® UA™ Analyzer to any package of instruments purchased. We will then adjust your monthly threshold amount to cover the cost of these instruments.

     
  2. What comprises in-house and reference laboratory profiles?

    For in-house profiles, each qualifying profile consists of a group of tests that must be run at the same time on the same patient, and the result of these test must appear on one IDEXX VetLab® patient report. For IDEXX Reference Laboratories profiles, a qualifying profile is comprised of a chemistry panel and a CBC run at the reference laboratory. The requested profile must be completed and invoiced before points will be applied to your IDEXX Points account. For a complete list of qualifying profiles, see the Benefits tab.

     
  3. What happens if we do not meet the monthly threshold amount for profiles or purchases?

    Unfortunately, you will not earn an IDEXX Points rebate for that month.

     
  4. What happens if we run or purchase more than the threshold amount?

    Once you meet your monthly threshold, you will not earn any additional IDEXX Points.

     
  5. Will the qualifying in-house and reference laboratory profiles change?

    IDEXX has the right to change or modify profiles at any time.

     
  6. How does IDEXX know we are running the correct amount of profiles?

    We capture the data on your in-house profiles automatically, but only if IDEXX SmartService™ Solutions and your IDEXX VetLab® Station are on and connected at all times. Once you’re up and running, we will start tracking your profile history. Note: Your clinic should continue to follow the standard weekly restart recommendation.

     
  7. What happens if we do not have IDEXX VetLab® Station and IDEXX SmartService™ Solutions turned on and connected?

    IDEXX SmartService Solutions and your IDEXX VetLab Station must be on at all times in order to earn points for in-house profiles through the IDEXX Diagnostic Agreement—and if they’re not, we can’t track your earnings. It is the sole responsibility of your practice to ensure that IDEXX SmartService Solutions is connected in order to earn points. IDEXX is not liable for awarding IDEXX Points for any activity that takes place while your IDEXX VetLab Station or IDEXX SmartService Solutions is turned off or not connected properly.

     
  8. Do we contact the financing company or IDEXX if we feel we are running the appropriate amount of profiles but are still being charged a monthly fee?

    Please call IDEXX at 1-888-794-3399 if you have questions regarding your IDEXX Points earnings.

     
  9. Will we receive a monthly statement that indicates our monthly points earnings?

    Yes, your total number of qualifying in-house and reference laboratory profiles, qualifying consumable purchases and IDEXX Points earnings can be viewed on a monthly basis by logging in to your IDEXX Points account at idexx.com/points.

     
  10. Do I own the instruments outright at the end of the lease term?

    At the end of the lease term, you have the option of buying out the instruments for a $1.00 buyout fee.

     
  11. With the IDEXX Diagnostic Agreement, are there any other fees we may be responsible for paying?

    Yes, if you are enrolled in the points to lease program, the following are your responsibility beyond the monthly lease payment:

    • You will need to pay the first two month’s invoices.
    • You may need to pay monthly sales tax depending on the state you reside in.
    • If your monthly threshold number of profiles to be run is not met, the financing company will bill you for each profile not run.
    • At the end of the term of the lease, you may purchase your analyzers for $1.00.

     
  12. How does IDEXX pay our lease with IDEXX Points?

    The IDEXX Diagnostic Agreement allows you to use the IDEXX Points you earn to pay your monthly lease payment. Points that accumulate in your IDEXX Points account are applied to the lease each month (not to exceed the monthly lease payment). Note:

    • IDEXX Points committed to in the IDEXX Diagnostic Agreement will be deducted each month if available and any remaining balance will be billed by the financing company.

  4. Will we earn IDEXX Points if only one or two protocols are run?

    There are no minimum thresholds to be met with Catalyst Dx Protocol Rebate program, so you will receive IDEXX Points even if you run only one of them.

     
  5. What is the maximum amount of IDEXX Points we can receive through the Catalyst Dx Protocol Rebate program?

    IDEXX Points earned through the Catalyst Dx Protocol Rebate program are capped at 1,000 points per protocol, per month.

     
  6. When will I start earning points with the Catalyst Dx Protocol Rebate program?

    The term of the agreement begins the first day of the month in which you are issued your first invoice for your Catalyst Dx® Chemistry Analyzer and ends after 60 months.

     
  7. When will our IDEXX Points be deposited?

    Points will be deposited monthly for the previous month’s activity. For example, points earned on protocols run during February will be paid in March.

     
  8. With the Catalyst Dx Protocol Rebate agreement, are there any other fees we may be responsible for paying?

    Yes, the following are your responsibility beyond the monthly lease payment:

    • You will need to pay the first two months’ invoices.
    • You may need to pay monthly sales tax depending on the state you reside in.

     
  9. How does IDEXX pay my lease through the Points to Lease Program?

    Points to Lease is a program that allows customers to use the IDEXX Points that they accumulate to pay their monthly lease payment. Points are applied to a customer’s lease monthly as points are accumulated in the customer’s bank (not to exceed the monthly lease payment). Please note:

    • IDEXX Points committed to in the IDEXX Points to Lease agreement will be deducted each month if available, and any remaining balance will be billed by the leasing company.
    • You are responsible to pay all invoices received from the leasing company in any given month.
    • IDEXX points will be withdrawn from your IDEXX Points account on the 18th day of each month.
    • IDEXX Points can only be applied to IDEXX products and services.
    • Participation in the IDEXX Points to Lease agreement is initiated upon signing the lease paperwork for the instrument.

In-house Profile Agreement Questions and Answers 

  1. What is the In-house Profile Agreement?

    The In-house Profile Agreement is a flexible program designed to make it easier to grow your practice. Based on the instruments you have purchased, IDEXX will set a monthly “threshold number” of IDEXX profiles to be run in-house. As long as the threshold number of profiles is run each month, there will be no instrument-related costs.

    At the time of lease signing, practices can opt to add a SNAPshot Dx® Analyzer to any package of instruments purchased. The SNAPshot Dx Analyzer component has an independent threshold number of SNAP® Total T4 Tests to run each month to qualify for no instrument-related costs. A practice is only eligible for earning IDEXX Points on SNAP® Total T4 Tests run if the SNAPshot Dx® Analyzer lease option has been selected.

     
  2. How does IDEXX know we are running the correct amount of profiles?

    IDEXX SmartService™ Solutions and your IDEXX VetLab® Station must be on and connected at all times in order for IDEXX to capture the data on your in-house profiles. Once you’re up and running, IDEXX will start tracking your profile history. Note: Clinics should continue to follow the standard weekly restart recommendation.

    • IPA 100—1,000 points per month
    • IPA 85—850 points per month
    • IPA 75—750 points per month
    • IPA 65—650 points per month
    • IPA 50—500 points per month
    • IPA 35—350 points per month
    • SNAPshot Dx® 25 option—125 points per month
    • SNAPshot Dx® 20 option—100 points per month

     
  5. What happens if we do not have IDEXX VetLab® Station and IDEXX SmartService™ Solutions turned on and connected?

    IDEXX SmartService Solutions and your IDEXX VetLab Station must be on at all times in order to earn points through the In-house Profile Agreement.   IDEXX VetLab® Station Volume Rebate Questions and Answers

  1. What is the IDEXX VetLab® Station Volume Rebate?

    In exchange for a commitment to purchase an IDEXX VetLab® Station Laboratory Information Management System, you will earn 55 IDEXX Points for each month that your practice’s purchases equal at least 80% of your current IDEXX VetTest® Chemistry Analyzer slide monthly purchase level.

     

    Additional terms and conditions:

    • The program begins the first day of the month following delivery and acceptance of the IDEXX VetLab Station and lasts for a term of 36 months, unless terminated earlier. Once the agreement is terminated, you will no longer earn IDEXX Points on the VetTest slide purchases you make under this program.

    • Rebates are issued in the form of IDEXX Points (1 point = $1). You can use IDEXX Points to purchase IDEXX products and services or the IDEXX Points to Lease Program can be set up to help offset the lease payment.

    • Only VetTest slides purchased from IDEXX or one of its authorized distributors and used in your practice count toward your qualifying monthly purchase level. This program cannot be combined with other programs, including the IDEXX Diagnostic Agreement, In-house Profile Agreement, Catalyst Dx Protocol Rebate program, Catalyst Dx Profile Partnership, Shelter Discount program, corporate account programs or contract pricing programs.

  2. What happens if we do not meet the monthly threshold amount for purchases?

  1. What is the Buck a SNAP® program?

    The Buck a SNAP® program is a flexible program designed to make it easier to grow your practice. By purchasing qualifying IDEXX in-house equipment through the Buck a SNAP program, you will have the opportunity to earn valuable IDEXX Points for your SNAP test purchases. These points can be applied to the equipment lease/service cost.

     
  2. How do we earn IDEXX Points through the Buck a SNAP program?

    For each qualifying SNAP® test you purchase, you will earn 1 IDEXX Point2 IDEXX Points. This IDEXX Point-earning opportunity expires at the end of the 60-month rebate period.

  1. What is the SNAP Pro Buck a SNAP® program?

    The SNAP Pro Buck a SNAP® program designed to help improve your workflow when it comes to running SNAP tests by utilizing the SNAP Pro device with little to no out-of-pocket cost. By running qualifying SNAP tests through your SNAP Pro, you will have the opportunity to earn IDEXX Points which are then applied to the equipment lease/service cost. Earn $1.00 (or 1 IDEXX Point) for every SNAP test run on SNAP Pro. The program caps at $25 or 25 Points per month per device which covers the device and service cost. Up to 10 devices can be acquired with this program offering.

     
  2. How do we earn IDEXX Points through the Buck a SNAP program?

    For each qualifying SNAP® test you run through your SNAP Pro, you will earn 1 IDEXX Point. This IDEXX Point-earning opportunity expires at the end of the 72-month rebate period. The IDEXX Diagnostic Advantage Program 

  1. What is SDMA?

    Symmetric dimethylarginine, or SDMA, is a new kidney function test that can detect kidney disease in dogs and cats months or even years earlier than standard, currently available screening technologies. SDMA is an amino acid produced in the body and excreted almost exclusively by the kidneys, making it an accurate measure of kidney function. SDMA detects kidney disease earlier in cats and dogs, on average at only 40% loss of kidney function or even possibly at as little as 25% loss. IDEXX has developed SDMA to give customers a new clinical tool to identify kidney disease much earlier than with creatinine alone. IDEXX will be the only veterinary diagnostics company to offer SDMA.

     
  2. What is the IDEXX Diagnostic Advantage Program—SDMA Rebate?

    Now hospitals that use the Catalyst One™ Chemistry Analyzer or the Catalyst Dx® Chemistry Analyzer as well as IDEXX Reference Laboratories earn rebates when they deliver the best possible preventive care with SDMA—a new renal biomarker available only from IDEXX.

It is the sole responsibility of your practice to ensure that IDEXX SmartService™ Solutions is connected.   9. Will VetTest® customers be eligible for the SDMA rebate?

    Our Catalyst chemistry platform provides the most comprehensive profile and continues to provide greater clinical insight with new tests continually added such as Fructosamine, Phenobarbital and Total T4 – and, eventually, SDMA. SDMA will not be available in the future on the VetTest platform because it is not technically feasible; therefore, current VetTest customers are not eligible for this rebate.

     

Cornerstone® Referral Program Questions and Answers 

  1. How do I earn points through the Cornerstone® Referral Program?

    It’s simple! Send us a colleague who you think would benefit from switching to the Cornerstone® Practice Management System, and if they become a Cornerstone customer within 2 years of your referral, you will earn 500 IDEXX Points.

     
  2. Is there any limit to number of points I can earn through the program?

SediVue Pay per Run Questions and Answers

What is Pay per Run?

Traditionally, IDEXX in-house analyzer users have purchased tests and accessories as needed. With Pay per Run, IDEXX will ship SediVue V70i™ cartridges, pipette tips, and QC fluid to you at no charge, and you will be billed monthly for each successful run completed.

 

How does this benefit our practice?

Pay per Run will alleviate the burden of taking on extra inventory by only supplying what is needed. Additionally, by allowing you to recognize client revenue immediately, Pay per Run provides additional cash flow for the practice.

 

Do we need an active IDEXX SmartService™ Solutions connection to run the SediVue Dx™ Urine Sediment Analyzer?

Yes, all SediVue Dx analyzer customers are required to have IDEXX SmartService Solutions.

 

How does IDEXX keep track of the sample runs we perform on the SediVue Dx analyzer?

IDEXX SmartService Solutions will track runs on a monthly basis and add the total cost of all the runs to your monthly IDEXX invoice.

 

How will we be charged for the quality control runs?

For each quality control run captured through IDEXX SmartService Solutions, a charge will be applied. The quality control cycle consists of two runs; therefore, you will see two charges for each quality control cycle.

 

What if quality control or a sample run is completed for troubleshooting?

If a duplicate quality control or sample run, including the identical patient ID, is performed within the same business day, you will not be charged.

 

 

IDEXX Points Terms and Conditions  

 

What are the IDEXX Points Terms and Conditions?

IDEXX Points-earning programs run on varying schedules. IDEXX will deposit points (based on your qualified activities) to your IDEXX Points account at the end of each program's point-earning period. IDEXX will provide quarterly statements to you that summarize your purchases, redemptions and IDEXX Points balance for any quarter in which your IDEXX Points account is active.

IDEXX Points expire annually on November 30, two years after the points were earned. For example, points earned on February 20, 2016, will expire on November 30, 2018. (However, IDEXX Points earned in December will expire one year and 11 months after they were earned.) Points will be redeemed or expired in the order they were earned. If your practice has not made IDEXX purchases in a 12-month period, all points will expire and the IDEXX Points account will be closed.

IDEXX Points will be calculated after discounts from other programs sponsored by IDEXX or its distributors have been applied. You will not be able to earn or use points if you are delinquent with any IDEXX affiliate, and IDEXX reserves the right to apply your points toward a delinquency. In order to earn IDEXX Points through an In-House Profile program, you must leave your IDEXX VetLab® Station and IDEXX SmartService Solutions on and connected at all times. To activate IDEXX SmartService Solutions, please call 1-800-695-2877, option 4. IDEXX is not responsible for paying on In-House Profile activity that takes place while your IDEXX VetLab Station or IDEXX SmartService Solutions is turned off or not connected properly.

You must purchase qualifying products and services from IDEXX.

IDEXX will track your activities by shipping address. If you own multiple practices, you must provide all practice addresses to IDEXX at the time of enrollment to receive credit for those locations. If practices are linked in this manner, they will have one group account and any practice in the group can redeem the group's earned IDEXX Points. IDEXX is not responsible for mediating any disputes regarding point ownership or redemptions among related practices. You must provide any change of address to IDEXX at the time of change. IDEXX Points are owned and held by practices and not by individuals. Purchased products and services must be consumed by your practice(s) and may not be sold or otherwise transferred to any other practice except in conjunction with a change in ownership of the practice. If a point balance is being transferred as part of an ownership change, authorized representatives of both the seller and the buyer must notify IDEXX within 30 days of the ownership change.
