Megan Andexlinger, DVM
Dr. Andexlinger received her DVM degree from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Her experience spans a variety of clinical practice encounters over the past 8 years, including time as chief of staff for a private practice and as an associate and locum veterinarian within corporate veterinary medicine as well as establishing her own veterinary relief service supporting companion-animal medicine.
Michael Q. Bailey, DVM, DACVR
Dr. Bailey completed his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University, earned his DVM from historic Tuskegee University in Alabama, and then completed a small-animal rotating internship and radiology residency at Michigan State University. Before joining IDEXX Telemedicine Consultants, he served on the faculty at Tuskegee University, Michigan State University, and The Ohio State University.
Regan Bell, DVM, MS, DACVP
Dr. Bell completed her DVM at Washington State University and spent a year and a half in small-animal private practice in Seattle, WA. She returned to Washington State for a residency and master’s degree in clinical pathology, worked for a large veterinary diagnostic laboratory in the Midwest for 2 years, and joined IDEXX in 2015. She currently works as a clinical pathologist in Portland, OR.
Graham E. A. Bilbrough, MA, VetMB, CertVA, MRCVS
After graduating from the University of Cambridge, Dr. Bilbrough spent a year in mixed practice in Oxfordshire, England, before returning to Cambridge to become the BSAVA Petsavers resident in anesthesia and critical patient care. Later he became the senior anesthetist at the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital. He joined IDEXX in 2006, where he is a medical affairs manager.
Dennis B. DeNicola, DVM, PhD, DACVP
Dr. DeNicola completed his DVM in 1978 and his PhD in 1981, both at Purdue University, where for more than 20 years he served as educator in clinical and surgical pathology and directed the clinical pathology laboratory. A medical affairs fellow and clinical pathologist at IDEXX, he received the American Society for Veterinary Clinical Pathology Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
Corie Drake, Staff Biostatistician, IDEXX
Corie Drake is a Staff Biostatistician specializing in product performance support, big data, and clinical studies. His background in instrument design and engineering provides a unique perspective on analytics.
Nancy Drumm, General Manager, Capital Vets-Catskill Animal Hospital
Nancy graduated from Cornell University and is the general manager of four companion pet veterinary practices in the Capital District region of New York. Her responsibilities include general operation as well as overseeing all business aspects of the practice, including information management, human resources, accounting, and physical plant operations. She is also a contributing author for Practice Life, an online veterinary industry publication.
Matthew is Director of the IDEXX VetLab Chemistry, Electrolyte, and Blood Gas business. In this role Matt is responsible for the global management of our on-market chemistry products as well as the teams that develop the pipeline and bring new chemistry innovations to the marketplace. Matt has worked at IDEXX for over 15 years, holding multiple roles on the IDEXX VetLab and Rapid Assay teams. Prior to this current role, Matt managed the IDEXX VetLab Hematology teams responsible for maintaining and launching many innovative hematology products including adaptive calibration technologies and the ProCyte Dx Hematology Analyzer. Additionally, Matt lived in Australia with this family and worked as the National Sales Manager for IDEXX ANZ. While there, he helped develop the sales programs and customer-facing organization that led the ANZ region to impressive year-over-year growth. Matt holds an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and a master’s from Columbia University. An avid outdoorsman, Matt spends much of his free time biking, hiking, skiing, and otherwise enjoying the outdoors with his wife, two children, and their constant canine companion Mudgee.
Jeremy Johnson, DVM, PhD, DACVP
Dr. Johnson received his DVM and PhD from Colorado State University and completed residencies in anatomic and clinical pathology. His PhD work focused on vitamin K metabolism and vitamin K-dependent proteins involved in bone metabolism and coagulation. Board certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in anatomic and clinical pathology, Dr. Johnson has been with IDEXX since 2004. He is currently the senior director and general manager of IDEXX Pathology operations in North America, where his focus is on innovation and digital solutions for pathology services.
Elizabeth Hetler, DVM, CVPM
Dr. Hetler did her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and earned her DVM degree from the University of Illinois. She entered small-animal practice in the Chicago suburbs and has held positions as an associate veterinarian, practice owner, medical director of a corporate practice, and relief veterinarian. After over 17 years in clinical practice, she joined IDEXX as a Professional Services Veterinarian.
Kristina Lambert, Senior Product Manager, IDEXX
Kristina started her career as a veterinary technician in a small general practice in her hometown of Bath, Maine. Since joining IDEXX in 2005, she’s held positions in sales, marketing, and product management. In her current role, she’s focused on understanding what veterinary practitioners need from pet-owner communications and wellness plan solutions, and she works with IDEXX teams to deliver that functionality through software. She loves spending time with friends, family, and pets, enjoying the many outdoor wonders available in Maine.
Julie Levy, DVM, PhD, DACVIM
Dr. Levy, a professor at the University of Florida, obtained her DVM from the University of California, Davis, and a PhD in immunology from North Carolina State University. She is actively involved in the AVMA Clinical Practitioners Advisory Committee, the AAFP and Operation Catnip, a feral cat spay/neuter program in Gainesville, Florida.
Emma Lishness, Social Media Manager, IDEXX
Ms. Lishness joined IDEXX in 2013. She manages IDEXX’s social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Ms. Lishness is a Maine native and a graduate of the University of St. Andrews. When she’s not at work, she can be found exploring the Maine coast with her rescue beagle Sam.
Susan Little, DVM, DABVP
Dr. Little received her BSc from Dalhousie University (Nova Scotia, Canada) and her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph. She has been in feline practice since 1990 and achieved board certification in feline practice in 1997. She is part owner of two feline specialty practices in Ottawa, Ontario, and received the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Small Animal Practitioner Award in 2010.
Fred Metzger, DVM, MRCVS, DABVP
Dr. Metzger is a 1986 graduate of the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, and an adjunct professor at the Pennsylvania State University. A published textbook and article coauthor, he owns the Metzger Animal Hospital in State College, Pennsylvania.
Julie Miles, MS, DVM
Dr. Miles graduated from The Ohio State University in 2006. She spent 2.5 years working in private practice, and she then joined Lighthouse Veterinary Personnel Services in 2009, where she worked as a relief veterinarian and manager for 5 years. In 2014, she opened Compassionate Care Animal Hospital, which has grown into a 2-doctor practice.
Wendy S. Myers, CVJ
Ms. Myers owns Communication Solutions for Veterinarians, in Denver, Colorado. Her firm helps teams improve telephone and communication skills, client service, and compliance. She offers monthly continuing education credit webinars and is the author of 101 Communication Skills for Veterinary Teams. Ms. Myers is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association and serves on a committee for the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry.
Ben Nitschke, Product Manager, IDEXX
Ben Nitschke earned his expertise in workflow optimization through 10+ years of experience as a veterinary nurse in general practice and emergency hospitals, as well as in his work helping over 100 hospitals implement the SmartFlow Workflow Optimization System. With IDEXX since 2018, Ben works closely with customers to gather feedback that drives enhancements and new features that improve communication, streamline the delivery of care, and increase revenue. Outside the office Ben enjoys playing card games, going to movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Korinn E. Saker, MS, DVM, PhD, DACVN
Dr. Saker is currently an associate professor of nutrition, director of the Nutrition Program, and service chief of the Health and Wellness Center at North Carolina State University-College of Veterinary Medicine (NCSU-CVM). She received her MS in animal nutrition from Clemson University and her DVM from the University of Georgia.
William D. Saxon, DVM, DACVIM, DACVECC
Dr. Saxon, a graduate of Iowa State University, practiced in the San Francisco area until 2007 and has also owned an intensive care unit in a specialty referral practice in Washington, D.C. He has been an IDEXX Reference Laboratories internal medicine consultant since 1997 and is a coauthor of Manual of Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Medicine.
Justin has worked in veterinary practices in numerous capacities over the past 16 years. He has a passion for the role of technology in the veterinary practice and how it can be utilized to improve the quality and consistency of care in the veterinary practice. He also has a professional interest in veterinary nutrition and laboratory diagnostics. Currently, he lives in New Jersey with his wife and several feline companions.
J. Catharine Scott-Moncrieff, MA, VetMB, MS, DACVIM, DSAM, DECVIM
Dr. Scott-Moncrieff is professor of small-animal internal medicine and director of international programs. She is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and she holds a diploma in small-animal medicine from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Allison Spake, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology), Associate Medical Director, IDEXX Telemedicine Consultants
Dr. Spake received her DVM from the University of Tennessee. She completed a rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania and her cardiology residency at North Carolina State University. She began her career in a private specialty practice in Charleston, SC. After 2 years, she joined the cardiology department at Colorado State University. After 2 years at CSU, she joined IDEXX full time, starting first as the cardiology manager and production cardiologist; she is now the associate medical director for IDEXX Telemedicine Consultants. Dr. Spake lives in Fort Collins, CO, with her husband Gaetan, her toy poodle Junior, and her four chickens—Grits, Sausage, Lydia, and Josh. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, hiking, skiing, and attempting to grow vegetables.
Jörg M. Steiner, MedVet, DrMedVet, PhD, DACVIM, DECVIM-CA, AGAF
Dr. Steiner received his veterinary degree in 1992 and his DrMedVet degree in 1995 from the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, Germany. He currently serves as a professor with the Department of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery and the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology, as well as the director of the Gastrointestinal Laboratory at Texas A&M University.
Sarah Sweet, DVM
Dr. Sweet is a 2004 graduate of the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced small-animal general and emergency medicine for 12 years in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine, and she founded and co-owned a two-doctor companion-animal practice in Damariscotta, Maine. She joined IDEXX Laboratories in 2018.
