Sophie V. Vandebroek, PhD
Corporate Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Vandebroek has been an executive with Xerox Corporation since 2002, and she has served as Chief Technology Officer and Corporate Vice President of Xerox Corporation, and President of the Xerox Innovation Group, since 2006. Dr. Vandebroek is responsible for overseeing Xerox’s research centers in Europe, Asia, Canada and the U.S., including the Palo Alto Research Center, for which she has served as sole director since 2008. Before her current positions, Dr. Vandebroek was Chief Engineer and Vice President of Xerox and Vice President of the Xerox Engineering Center from 2002 to 2005. Dr. Vandebroek previously served as a director of Analogic Corporation from 2008 to 2016. Dr. Vandebroek has been a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers since 2005 and a Fulbright Fellow and a Fellow of the Belgian-American Educational Foundation since 1986. Dr. Vandebroek holds an undergraduate degree in engineering and a master’s degree in electro-mechanical engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Leuven, Belgium, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Cornell University.
