  1. What is the IDEXX Points Program?

    The IDEXX Points program is designed to continuously thank you for doing business with us and to make it easier to grow your practice. Through the IDEXX Points Program, you’ll earn valuable IDEXX Points on common testing protocols. Each IDEXX Point is worth one dollar toward the purchase of any IDEXX product or service, and the points add up fast! IDEXX Points can be saved and applied toward larger purchases, such as diagnostic instruments, digital imaging systems and practice information management systems. IDEXX Points may also be applied to your IDEXX Reference Laboratories invoice. Benefits include:

  2. How do we know how many IDEXX Points we have?

    You can view your IDEXX Points balance and statements through our password-protected account management service at idexx.com/points. Activating your online account is easy. Just call IDEXX Customer Support at 1-800-248-2483, and we will assist you with activation. Of course, if you ever have questions regarding how many IDEXX Points are in your account, you can call your IDEXX representative at 1-800-355-2896 or call IDEXX Customer Support.

     
  3. How do we use our IDEXX Points to buy something?

    You can redeem your IDEXX Points on any IDEXX product or service by calling IDEXX Customer Support at 1-800-248-2483. Simply tell us what you want to buy with your IDEXX Points, and we’ll do the rest. Purchases made using IDEXX Points will not be applied toward minimum purchase requirements in the Advanced Lab Protocols point-earning structure.

     
  4. Do we have to save our IDEXX Points until we can cover the total cost of the item we want to purchase?

    No, you don’t have to save up until your IDEXX Points cover the full cost of an item. You can save your points, or you can apply any portion of your IDEXX Points balance toward the cost of an item, even if you don’t have the full amount.

     
  5. Do we have to keep track of our IDEXX Points activity?

    We track your points for you. You can check your IDEXX Points balance and access archived quarterly statements at idexx.com/points. For help activating your online account, please call 1-800-248-2483. You can always call your IDEXX representative at 1-800-355-2896 for up-to-date account information.

     
  6. Is there any paperwork involved?

    No paperwork is required to earn IDEXX points or to spend them on any IDEXX products or services. Just call 1-800-248-2483 and let us know what you want to do. We’ll take care of the rest.

     
  7. Is there a membership fee?

    No, there are no fees associated with IDEXX Points.

     
  8. What is an IDEXX Point worth?

    Each IDEXX Point is worth one dollar redeemable toward the purchase of any IDEXX product or service.

     
  9. How often are IDEXX Points deposited in our account?

    IDEXX Points are usually deposited during the month following the end of the program or rebate period in which they were earned.

     
  10. What is the maximum number of IDEXX Points we can receive?

    IDEXX Points earned through Real-Time Care Protocols are capped at 1,000 points per protocol, per month. Unless otherwise noted, there is no limit to the amount of points you can earn through all other IDEXX Points-earning opportunities.

     
  11. Do our IDEXX Points ever expire?

    Yes, IDEXX Points expire annually on November 30, two years after the points were earned. For example, points earned on February 20, 2009, will expire on November 30, 2011. (Points earned in any December will expire one year and 11 months after they were earned.) Points will be redeemed or expired in the order they were earned. If your practice has not made IDEXX purchases in a 12-month period, all points will expire and the IDEXX Points account will be closed.

     
  12. Who can answer questions about our account or statement?

    Your IDEXX representative (1-800-355-2896) and IDEXX Customer Support (1-800-248-2483) are available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

     
  13. Can we share an IDEXX Points account with another practice?

    Yes, multiple practices can pool points and share one IDEXX Points account. For more information, please consult the IDEXX Points Terms and Conditions.

Real-Time Care Protocols Questions and Answers 

  1. What is the Real-Time Care Protocols program?

  2. How do we earn IDEXX Points through Real-Time Care Protocols?

    IDEXX SmartService™ Solutions and your IDEXX VetLab® Station must be on and connected at all times in order to earn points through Real-Time Care Protocols. Once you’re up and running, you can earn IDEXX Points by running one or more of the qualifying protocols at your practice.

     
  3. How do we enroll in Real-Time Care Protocols?

    All eligible IDEXX customers can earn IDEXX Points through Real-Time Care Protocols as long as they have IDEXX VetLab® Station and IDEXX Smart Service™ Solutions. For eligibility requirements, please consult the IDEXX Points Terms and Conditions.

     
  4. What comprises a protocol?

    Each protocol consists of a qualifying group of tests that must be run at the same time on the same patient, and the results of these tests must appear on one IDEXX VetLab® patient report.

     
  5. How do we receive IDEXX Points for a protocol with tests that cannot be run simultaneously?

    All test results associated with a protocol must appear in a patient’s results report to receive IDEXX Points. Currently, chemistry profiles and Urine P:C Ratio cannot be run simultaneously on the Catalyst Dx® Chemistry Analyzer. You will need to run the chemistry profile first and then add the Urine P:C Ratio to the patient’s existing lab run for the chemistry profile using the Add Test feature on your IDEXX VetLab® Station. Also, you must use this feature to manually enter SNAP® test results that were not obtained using the SNAPshot Dx® Analyzer or SNAP® Reader. The following procedure will allow you to add the Urine P:C Ratio and SNAP tests to an existing lab run:

    1. Tap a patient name in the Recent Test Results List on the Home screen.
    2. Tap the Add Test button (below the Recent Test Results List).
    3. Tap the desired analyzer’s icon or SNAP test’s icon to select it.
    4. Tap Append Results to add the results for the selected instruments to the patient’s lab result. All original results are kept.
    5. Process the sample on the IDEXX analyzer or on a SNAP test. Analyzer results are added to the lab results automatically once the testing is complete. SNAP results need to be manually entered on the IDEXX VetLab Station. To manually enter SNAP results, tap the SNAP icon in the patient’s job status area, tap Enter Results, and then select the appropriate result for your patient.

     
  6. What protocols qualify for IDEXX Points

  7. Will we earn IDEXX Points if only one or two protocols are run?

    There are no minimum thresholds to be met with Real-Time Care Protocols, so you will receive IDEXX Points even if you run only one of them.

     
  8. What is the maximum amount of IDEXX Points we can receive through Real-Time Care Protocols?

    IDEXX Points earned through Real-Time Care Protocols are capped at 1,000 points per protocol, per month.

     
  9. What happens if we do not have IDEXX VetLab Station and IDEXX SmartService Solutions turned on and connected?

    IDEXX SmartService Solutions and your IDEXX VetLab Station must be on at all times in order to earn points through Real-Time Care Protocols. It is the sole responsibility of your practice to ensure that IDEXX SmartService Solutions is connected in order to earn points. IDEXX is not liable for awarding IDEXX Points for any activity that takes place while your IDEXX VetLab Station or IDEXX SmartService Solutions is turned off or not connected properly.

     
  10. Will the qualifying protocols change?

    IDEXX has the right to change or modify protocols at any time.

     
  11. Can we earn IDEXX Points for running multiple protocols at once?

    You will earn IDEXX Points for running one protocol at a time. For example, you will receive 10 points for running a chemistry profile, complete blood count (CBC) and a SNAP® T4 Test. You will not receive an additional 10 points for adding a SNAP® cPL™ Test to the same protocol.

     
  12. When will our IDEXX Points be deposited?

    Points will be deposited monthly for the previous month’s activity. For example, points earned on Real-Time Care Protocols run during February will be paid in March.

     

 Advanced Lab Protocols Questions and Answers

  1. What is the Advanced Lab Protocol Program?

    The Advanced Lab Protocols program is designed to continuously thank you for doing business with us and to make it easier to grow your practice. By running Advanced Lab Protocols, you’ll earn valuable IDEXX Points. Each IDEXX Point is worth one dollar toward the purchase of any IDEXX product or service, and the points add up fast!   2. How do we earn IDEXX Points through Advanced Lab Protocols?

    You will earn IDEXX Points on the protocols that you run during any quarter in which your practice spends the minimum of $3,000 on IDEXX Reference Laboratories services. Laboratory invoices paid using IDEXX Points are not counted toward quarterly purchase minimums.

     
  3. How do we sign up for Advanced Lab Protocols?

    All eligible IDEXX customers can earn IDEXX Points through Advanced Lab Protocols as long as the minimum purchase requirement is met. For eligibility requirements, please consult the IDEXX Points Terms and Conditions.

     
  4. Which protocols qualify for IDEXX Points through Advanced Lab Protocols?

  5. How do we determine how many IDEXX Points we will earn through Advanced Lab Protocols this quarter?

  6. Will we earn IDEXX Points if only one or two protocols are run?

    You will earn IDEXX Points on the Advanced Lab Protocols that you run during any quarter in which your total IDEXX Reference Laboratories purchases amount to at least $3,000.

     
  7. We own multiple practices. Can we combine our purchase volume in Advanced Lab Protocols?

    Yes, you can combine your purchases to earn IDEXX Points by linking all of your affiliated practices to the same IDEXX Points account. For more information, please consult the IDEXX Points Terms and Conditions.

     
  8. Do we have to reach the quarterly minimum before we start getting credit for the qualifying protocols we are running?

    No, exceeding the quarterly minimum allows you to earn IDEXX Points on all qualifying protocols back to the start of the quarter.

     
  9. When will our IDEXX Points be deposited?

    IDEXX Points will be deposited quarterly within the month following the quarter that you are active in the Advanced Lab Protocols program. For example, points earned for qualifying protocols run between January and March will be paid during April.

     

SNAP Up The Savings Club Questions and Answers 

  1. What is the SNAP Up The Savings Program?

    SNAP Up The Savings is a reward program designed to continuously thank you for doing business with us and to make it easier to grow your practice. Through SNAP Up The Savings you can earn valuable IDEXX Points rebates on your everyday purchases. Each IDEXX Point is worth one dollar toward the purchase of any IDEXX product or service, and the points add up fast! SNAP Up The Savings highlights include:

  2. How do we earn IDEXX Points rebates through SNAP Up The Savings?

    Your practice can earn $1.00 or $2.00 rebate (1 or 2 IDEXX Points) for every canine test you buy when you make qualifying SNAP test purchases in the same program period. Please contact your IDEXX representative at 1-800-355-2896 or refer to the Benefits tab to learn more about qualifying purchases.

     
  3. How do we enroll in the SNAP Up The Savings Program?

    You are automatically enrolled when you buy three boxes of any qualifying SNAP® canine test on the same invoice.

    To be eligible for enrollment, you must order the largest boxes available and include one box of the SNAP® 4Dx®, SNAP® 3Dx® or SNAP® Heartworm RT test. The following SNAP® tests are excluded: T4, Total T4, Bile Acids, Cortisol, FeLV and Foal IgG.

     
  4. When is the enrollment period?

    The current SNAP Up The Savings enrollment period is October 1–December 31, 2011.

     
  5. Do we have to reenroll every year?

    Yes, when your practice enrolls, you are enrolled only until the end of that year’s program period.

     
  6. Can we earn IDEXX Points rebates on our enrollment purchases?

    Yes, the feline SNAP test purchases (SNAP® Feline Triple® or SNAP® FIV/FeLV Combo test) as well as the SNAP® cPL™, SNAP® fPL™, SNAP® Giardia and SNAP® Parvo tests purchases are retroactive to the beginning of the program period. However, canine test purchases prior to enrollment will not be counted in the rebate calculation.

     
  7. Do we need to complete any paperwork to enroll in the SNAP Up The Savings Club?

    No, we will track your SNAP test purchases and will automatically enroll your practice in the program when the qualifying tests have been purchased.

     
  8. When are the SNAP Up The Savings rebate periods?

    The four rebate periods are October 1–December 31, 2011, and in 2012, January–March, April–June and July–September.

     
  9. How often are IDEXX Points deposited in our account?

    IDEXX Points are usually deposited during the month following the end of the program or rebate period in which they were earned.

     
  10. Can we purchase two of the same tests and earn the $2 rebate (2 IDEXX Points) for each canine test we buy?

    In order to earn the full $2.00 rebate (2 IDEXX Points), you must purchase a box of feline tests (SNAP® Feline Triple® Test or SNAP® FIV/FeLV Combo test) with an additional purchase of one of these options:

    • A box each of the SNAP® cPL™ Test and SNAP® fPL™ Test
    • A box of SNAP cPL Test or SNAP fPL Test with a box of the SNAP® Giardia Test or SNAP® Parvo Test

     
  11. Can the rebates be combined to receive a $3.00 rebate (3 IDEXX Points)?

    No, the maximum rebate is $2.00 (2 IDEXX Points). The program has a two-step qualification. Purchasing the qualifying feline tests earns you $1.00 (1 IDEXX Point). In order to earn the full $2.00 rebate (2 IDEXX Points), you must purchase a box of feline tests (SNAP® Feline Triple® Test or SNAP® FIV/FeLV Combo Test) with an additional purchase of one of these options:

    • A box each of the SNAP cPL Test and SNAP fPL Test
    • A box of SNAP cPL Test or SNAP fPL Test with a box of the SNAP® Giardia Test or SNAP® Parvo Test

     

Cornerstone® Referral Program Questions and Answers 

  1. How do I earn points through the Cornerstone® Referral Program?

    It’s simple! Send us a colleague who you think would benefit from switching to the Cornerstone® Practice Management System, and if they become a Cornerstone customer within 2 years of your referral, you will earn 500 IDEXX Points.

     
  2. Is there any limit to number of points I can earn through the program?

    The sky is the limit! You can earn as many points as you want to through the referral program. It’s all dependent on how many colleagues you refer.

     
  3. Are there any program rules?

    Just one rule—the person you refer must become a Cornerstone customer within 2 years of your referral.

     
  4. Are the points the same as those I can earn in other IDEXX Points programs?

    Yes, they are the same IDEXX Points, worth $1 toward any IDEXX product or service.

     

 

IDEXX Points Terms and Conditions  

 

What are the IDEXX Points Terms and Conditions?

IDEXX Points-earning programs run on varying schedules. IDEXX will deposit points (based on your qualified activities) to your IDEXX Points account at the end of each program’s point-earning period. IDEXX will provide quarterly statements to you that summarize your purchases, redemptions and IDEXX Points balance for any quarter in which your IDEXX Points account is active.

IDEXX Points expire annually on November 30, two years after the points were earned. For example, points earned on February 20, 2009, will expire on November 30, 2011. (However, IDEXX Points earned in December will expire one year and 11 months after they were earned.) Points will be redeemed or expired in the order they were earned. If your practice has not made IDEXX purchases in a 12-month period, all points will expire and the IDEXX Points account will be closed.

IDEXX Points will be calculated after discounts from other programs sponsored by IDEXX or its distributors have been applied. You will not be able to earn or use points if you are delinquent with any IDEXX affiliate, and IDEXX reserves the right to apply your points toward a delinquency. In order to earn IDEXX Points through the Real-Time Care Protocols program, you must leave your IDEXX VetLab® Station and IDEXX SmartService™ Solutions on and connected at all times. To activate IDEXX SmartService Solutions, please call 1-800-695-2877, option 4. IDEXX is not responsible for paying on Real-Time Care Protocols activity that takes place while your IDEXX VetLab Station or IDEXX SmartService Solutions is turned off or not connected properly.

All test results associated with a protocol must appear in a patient’s results report to receive IDEXX Points. You must purchase qualifying products and services from IDEXX or an authorized IDEXX distributor.

IDEXX will track your activities by shipping address. If you own multiple practices, you must provide all practice addresses to IDEXX at the time of enrollment to receive credit for those locations. If practices are linked in this manner, they will have one group account and any practice in the group can redeem the group’s earned IDEXX Points. IDEXX is not responsible for mediating any disputes regarding point ownership or redemptions among related practices. You must provide any change of address to IDEXX at the time of change. Please call IDEXX Customer Support at 1-800-248-2483 in order to link your practices.

IDEXX Points are owned and held by practices and not by individuals. Purchased products and services must be consumed by your practice(s) and may not be sold or otherwise transferred to any other practice except in conjunction with a change in ownership of the practice. If a point balance is being transferred as part of an ownership change, authorized representatives of both the seller and the buyer must notify IDEXX within 30 days of the ownership change.

IDEXX Points are not redeemable for cash.

IDEXX may, from time to time, offer other promotional or discount programs that may not be used in conjunction with this program. This program is only available in the U.S. and Canada. Corporate accounts and distributors may not be eligible to earn IDEXX Points or participate in IDEXX Points-earning programs. IDEXX reserves the right to determine eligibility in any IDEXX Points-earning program. Contact your IDEXX representative for more details on program availability.

Purchases made with IDEXX Points include standard shipping and are subject to any applicable sales tax. Purchases made using IDEXX Points will not be included toward minimum purchase requirements in the Advanced Lab Protocols point-earning structure.
