Pancreatic

The pancreas produces the hormone insulin, which gets secreted into the bloodstream and helps control metabolism and blood sugar levels. It also produces digestive enzymes, which get secreted into the small intestine and help break down the proteins and starches in an animal’s food. Pancreatic disorders are often the result of a disruption in this process.
