Endocrine—Adrenal

Adrenal-related endocrine disorders are marked by an over-production or under-production of essential hormones. These hormone levels are usually regulated by interaction between the pituitary gland and the adrenal glands. Low or elevated levels occur when one of these glands is damaged or malfunctions. Endocrine disorders may also be iatrogenic.
