Identifying causative pathogens for respiratory disease is critical for determining treatments, implementing biosecurity protocols and managing the spread of disease.

With the IDEXX Equine Respiratory RealPCR Panel, veterinarians can now submit one sample to test for four respiratory diseases.

The new IDEXX Equine Respiratory RealPCR Panel consists of four real-time PCR tests:

• EHV-1 and EHV-4 RealPCR™ Tests
• S. equi RealPCR™ Test (includes culture ID)
• Equine Influenza Virus RealPCR™ Test
• Optional: Equine Arteritis Virus RealPCR™ (must be selected on test requisition form)

Sample requirements

1 sample, 4 results—Submit a single Dacron nasal swab and receive four test results

Turnaround times

Tests are performed daily, Monday–Friday, with results available in 48 hours.
