SNAPshot® DSR Reader Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to buy a reader?  
No, the SNAP test can be read both visually and with the SNAPshot DSR Reader. If you are a certified lab in the United States, and testing under the National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments' (NCIMS) guidelines, you will be required to use a reader. We recommend contacting your state laboratory evaluating officer (LEO) for guidance.
Does the SNAPshot DSR Reader have a printer?  
The SNAPshot DSR Reader does not have a printer built into it. A separate printer can be attached to provide hard-copy results. You can purchase a printer through IDEXX: - 115 volt: Part #98-09414-01
- 220 volt: Part #98-09415-00
Printers come fully equipped and ready to use with the SNAPshot Reader.
Can I use my SNAPshot Reader printer with the SNAPshot DSR Reader?  
Yes, the SNAPshot Reader printer will work with the SNAPshot DSR Reader. Contact IDEXX if you need to order a power supply for the printer: - 115 volt printer: Part #99-25699-00 (includes power supply and power cord)
- 220 volt printer: Part #98-09457-00 (includes power supply and power cord)

How can I order from IDEXX?

How long will it take to receive my order?  
Within North America, we generally ship all orders the same business day we receive them (orders received after 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time are shipped the next business day). Our standard shipping during the summer months is FedEx® Over-Night Delivery and Second-Day Delivery during the winter months. Depending on the day of the week you order, most orders from customers in the U.S. will be delivered no later than five business days after they are placed.
Please note: Federal Express® will not deliver to a P.O. box. Someone must be available at the shipping address to sign for the delivery. Please consider this when you provide your shipping information.
