WESTBROOK, Maine, January 14, 2009—IDEXX Computer Systems announces the Cornerstone® Coaching Series. Through training, assessments and coaching, the series teaches participants how to manage critical patient and client information more efficiently by taking full advantage of their IDEXX Cornerstone® Practice Management Software.

"We built each module of the Cornerstone Coaching Series to give veterinarians and their colleagues practical, big picture-experiences," says Chris Colbert, Marketing Manager, IDEXX Computer Systems. "The series goes beyond the nuts and bolts of software functionality, and ensures all possible features are engaged to reach a practice's goals, such as going paperless with medical record or inventory management."

Presented by education and performance specialists with the IDEXX Computer Systems group, the Cornerstone Coaching Series currently offers three modules:

  • Assess and Plan. Focuses on two separate services. The Cornerstone Database Coach analyzes the user's Cornerstone database setup and usage. Integrated Practice Coach highlights key areas of each user's practice that will enable successful change and identifies barriers to—and solutions for—technology integration.
  • Learn and Change. Online, instructor-led training that discusses key tasks and ways that Cornerstone's functionality helps execute them more efficiently, including electronic medical record setup and integration, appointment scheduling and inventory utilization.
  • Measure and Manage. Online, instructor-led software training to gauge and grow performance. Topics include Reporting Fundamentals, Compliance Assessment Training and Performance Tracking Training.
