IDEXX Laboratories Launches New xChek™ Software (Version 3.2)

WESTBROOK, Maine, June 16, 2003—IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDXX), Production Animal Services Division today announced release of its xChek* software, version 3.2. Developed in 1996, IDEXX xChek software was the first Microsoft® Windows®-based software for ELISA results interpretation in the poultry and livestock industries. Built on the strong foundation of its predecessors, the FlockChek* and HerdChek* software programs, xChek allows rapid input and reporting of individual and population-based data. It is a comprehensive, user-friendly diagnostic tool for the interpretation and management of data pertaining to the health of flock and herd animals.

xChek 3.2 offers enhanced e-mail, reader, reporting and export capabilities. The e-mail feature utilizes PDF and RTF file formats that allow full protection or full access to documents. This new version includes common swine templates, improved report formats and enhanced printing options. Customers will also experience new approaches to data interpretation through additional reports and export capabilities.
