The images are JPEG (.jpg) files or EPS (.eps) files. Other file formats are available by contacting Marketing Communications at IDEXX Laboratories in Westbrook, Maine.
JPEG images are either RGB or CMYK:
- Use RGB (red, green and blue) images for display on computer monitors (e.g., PowerPoint® presentations) or in documents intended for output on a desktop laser printer.
- Use CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) images for commercial offset printing. Although some computers may not be able to open them, they can still be downloaded and forwarded to a commercial printer. Any materials intended for offset printing must use a CYMK file.
EPS images are illustrations (vector images) rather than photos. These images are completely scalable without losing resolution, making them appropriate for items such as large signs. Although some computers may not be able to open them, they can still be downloaded and forwarded to a graphic designer or commercial printer.
