Faster, more definitive diagnoses of equine neurologic disease

To quickly diagnose and manage neurologic disease, veterinarians must differentiate causes of neurologic signs. With the IDEXX Neurologic Panel, veterinarians can now submit samples at one time to test for three neurologic diseases. Submitting samples for all three tests at once provides savings over the cost and time of ordering the tests separately.

The new IDEXX Neurologic Disease Panel, consists of:

• EHV-1 RealPCR™ Test—nasal swab and/or whole blood*

• West Nile Virus (WNV) IgM Elisa Test—serum

• Equine Protosoal Myeloencephalitis (EPM) Western Blot Test—serum and/or csf*

*If two sample types are submitted for a given test (EHV-1 or EPM), the second test will be billed at an additional price.
