Submitting Radiology Cases to IDEXX Telemedicine®
|

All services are
available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., eastern
time.
IDEXX Telemedicine receives images via Internet,
IDEXX Reference Laboratories courier, FedEx® and mail.
IDEXX Telemedicine provides the shipping materials used for FedEx
submission at no charge. Call us at 1-800-726-1212, ext. 62270 for
supplies or additional assistance.
The IDEXX Telemedicine team is committed to providing an accurate,
professional, quick and useful consultation with each case. This will
be aided by the best diagnostic images that you can provide and a
complete and clearly written or printed history. Please always give us
your clinic account number.
Images obtained by using a radiographic scanner, digital camera or
digital radiography (such as the IDEXX-DR™ 1417 or IDEXX-CR™ 1417 Digital Radiography
Systems) can be transmitted to IDEXX Telemedicine via the IDEXX
Cornerstone® image module, IDEXX-PACS
software or other PACS software, or e-mail. For information about this

Online
We accept online case submissions. To submit a case, simply fill
out the online
case submission form, attach your data file and send it. If you
are submitting your first case to IDEXX Telemedicine, please take a
moment to fill out our registration
form. The data you provide to us will ensure that we process your
case and deliver reports correctly.

E-Mail
You can submit a radiology case to IDEXX Telemedicine by e-mailing
us directly. Send your case information and images to telemed@idexx.com.

IDEXX Reference Laboratory Courier
- For each case, please be sure to include a case
submission form
and, if warranted, a detailed
medical history form .
- Place your films in an envelope along with the case submission
form (and detailed medical history form, if applicable). Be sure to
include your clinic name and address on the envelope.
- Give the envelope to your IDEXX courier when he/she picks up your
laboratory work.

- For each case, please be sure to include a case
submission form
and, if warranted, a detailed
medical history form .
- Place your films inside the IDEXX Telemedicine envelope, making
sure you enclose the cardboard. Be sure to include the case
submission form (and detailed medical history form, if applicable).
- Enter your name and address in the From section of the FedEx®
airbill (on the left side).
- Place your IDEXX Telemedicine account number next to your name.
- Peel off the second page and place it on your package.
- Call FedEx at 1-800-463-3339 to have your package picked up. You
will be asked for the following:
The account number: 1224-2429-4
The pickup location (your name and address)
- FedEx will give you a confirmation number.
FedEx Tips
NOTE: Do not send cases for Saturday delivery. There will be an
additional delivery charge for cases received via FedEx on Saturday.
- We urge you to call FedEx in advance of your first case to
confirm your location pickup schedule.
- All Friday pickups will be processed for evaluation on Monday.

- For each case, please be sure to include a case

- Place identification on each film, making sure it does not
overlap the body areas on the film.
- Place your films in an envelope, making sure that you enclose the
case submission form (and detailed medical history form, if
applicable) as well.
