1. Cornerstone Electronic Whiteboard
Take a step towards paperless medical records with the Cornerstone Electronic Whiteboard. This new feature lets you order, track and record patient treatments by staff member. The color-coded grid makes it easy for staff to see the status of patients’ treatments. The software automatically bills clients based on services provided. In addition, the detailed care information becomes part of the patient’s permanent medical record.
The Electronic Whiteboard comes ready to use with standard categories, frequencies
and patient hospital statuses. Schedule orders for patients using the invoice items that are already set up at your practice.

2. Custom Client and Patient Report Builder
Custom Client and Patient Report Builder allows you to create your own reports. Narrow the scope of your report based on selected criteria (for example, client sales, postal codes and patients’ species). Name and save your custom report for future use. The report itself can be printed or you can print mailing labels based on the report or save it as a file.
Use the "What Report Do I Run?" feature to locate the report you want to run, based on the type of information you need. This feature provides a quick, easy way to print some of your frequently used Cornerstone reports.

3. Physical Exam Feature
Cornerstone’s Physical Exam feature gives staff a quick and easy way to record observations and comments while examining a patient. When the exam is complete,
you can print a Pet Health Report Card to send home with the client. A record of the physical exam is stored in the patient’s history.
To help you get started, standard body system templates and observations come with the software. You can customize the Physical Exam by adding your own templates and observations.
4. IDEXX SmartLink™ Technology
This new version uses IDEXX SmartLink technology to integrate several instruments
and services like never before. Lab requests from Cornerstone’s request queue are transmitted to the IDEXX VetLab® Station automatically and results are then captured directly in Cornerstone. The complete circuit of data flow simplifies tasks and saves steps, ultimately leading to a more efficient and streamlined practice.
Cornerstone now accommodates the SmartLink complete circuit data flow for SNAP® tests, the IDEXX VetLab® UA™ Analyzer and the IDEXX VetStat® Electrolyte
and Blood Gas Analyzer. In addition, a new Diagnostic Health Profile (DHP) and a new nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) monitoring panel are also available.
5. New Cornerstone Inventory
Cornerstone Inventory is filled with expanded functionality and a new look. All inventory functions are now part of Cornerstone Foundation. New features include
advanced expiration date tracking, bar code scanning, multiple locations and more. You can also save unfinished purchase orders and receipts and complete them later. The new multi-purpose Purchasing Work List’s sophisticated tools help inventory managers make informed ordering decisions. 6. Cornerstone Links to Information and Services
New links to the Internet are now built right into Cornerstone. Order office
supplies or read the newsletter by selecting the appropriate menu option.
Find answers to frequently asked questions in the online Cornerstone Support Center. Access the support center by clicking the globe button on the toolbar.
The IDEXX Reminder Service provides an easy, exciting way to send reminders. Generate reminders as usual in Cornerstone, choose a reminder card and the reminder
service will print and mail the reminders directly to your clients!
7. Other Enhancements
Personalized breed sheets for standard canine and feline breeds are included with this version. Printed like any other Cornerstone document, breed sheets include a brief history, standard appearance, body structure, hair coat,
common health problems and positive and negative qualities of the breed.
Void an incorrect patient weight.
When you view a graph of a patient’s weight, you can also print the graph.
User-definable reminder messages enable you to personalize your reminders.
The Compliance Assessment Tool now allows you to generate compliance
results for specific patient classes.
Print Cornerstone performance tracker graphs.
Lifelearn® documents (available for purchase) can now be used in
Cornerstone. They can be linked to invoice items as special action documents.
Create customized health certificates with the Correspondence Wizard
by selecting a set of vaccinations to include on a health certificate.
Secondary names now print on invoices and statements.
Basic imaging features are now available in Cornerstone Foundation. These features include document scanning, the ability to import pictures from digital cameras and the ability to save an image to another format and annotate it.
