The SNAP Reader requires:
- 25–100 μL of sample to run a cortisol test
- 50–100 μL of sample to run a T4 test
- 100 μL of sample to run a bile acids test

|
The SNAP Reader takes as little as six minutes to run a T4,
cortisol or bile acids assay and report the results. T4
and cortisol have a five-minute incubation step prior to analysis. |

| Assay Kits |
|
Available assays are bile acids, T4 and cortisol. Assay devices
are packaged in boxes of six or fifteen T4 devices, and six bile acids or
cortisol devices. |

| Calibration |
|
The SNAP Reader must be calibrated daily using the
CalSNAP™ device that is supplied with the reader. This process
takes less than two minutes to complete. Assays are calibrated at
IDEXX and contain lot-specific calibration information
encoded on each device. |

Colorimetric competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) are
read on an optical analyzer with digital processing. |
