IDEXX Reference Laboratories and McAllister Software Systems Team Up to Launch LabREXX® through AVImark®
Now available in AVImark 2008.1.0.6261, LabREXX software simplifies test ordering from IDEXX Reference Laboratories

WESTBROOK, Maine, August 21, 2008—IDEXX Reference Laboratories announces that LabREXX®, a computer-generated test requisition form for submissions to its reference labs, is now available through AVImark® software. IDEXX and McAllister Software Systems, Inc. have teamed up to provide a new AVImark feature that eliminates manual test requisitions and allows practices to quickly and easily create accurate bar-coded orders for IDEXX Reference Laboratories’ tests.

With two clicks, LabREXX populates the test requisition form with information directly from AVImark’s patient medical record. Appropriate testing can be selected easily from the full IDEXX Reference Laboratories electronic menu which also lists the sample requirements and turnaround times for each test. The completed form prints with a unique bar code that is easily read for accurate processing at the reference laboratory. These features contribute to increased staff efficiency.
