IDEXX Computer Systems Announces Third Annual IDEXX Cornerstone® Users Conference [Trade]
Event offers the opportunity to learn about the latest features and share best practices with colleagues
WESTBROOK, Maine, July 25, 2008—IDEXX Computer Systems today announced that the 2008 IDEXX Cornerstone® Users Conference will be held October 12-15, at the Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort in Oak Brook, Illinois. The conference is designed to provide an educational and networking opportunity for the thousands of veterinary hospitals that use Cornerstone to manage their patients’ medical information and their practice.
The Cornerstone Users Conference responds to practice owners’ and managers’ interest in expanding their knowledge of Cornerstone and how its many features can advance their practice goals. The veterinary staff educational sessions spotlight Cornerstone’s exceptional capabilities and will help staff gain greater efficiency and improve practice performance in areas such as inventory control and electronic medical record administration. The conference goal is for attendees to return to their practices more adept at applying the software’s robust functionality to patient care and business growth.
“Last year’s conference helped our clinic improve compliance by at least 25 percent,” says Adele Bonzella, Practice Manager at Bethel Mill Animal Hospital in Sewell, New Jersey. “I’m hoping to bring home information from this year’s conference that will improve our compliance even more.”
Sessions will be held in two tracks—one for new staff or staff members who want to build on a basic understanding of the software’s capabilities and the second for users wishing to advance their knowledge of Cornerstone in order to maximize the software’s use in the practice.
Attendees will learn about Cornerstone 7.5, the software’s most recent release, in product-specific sessions. They will also have the opportunity to speak directly with customer support and development team representatives and provide feedback on the direction of future Cornerstone releases. In addition, the conference provides an occasion where veterinary practitioners and technicians can network with other users and share ways in which Cornerstone has improved workflow and productivity in their clinic or hospital.
“The response from past events has been tremendous, and we’ve expanded the conference offerings based on last year’s feedback” says Chris Colbert, Marketing Manager for IDEXX Computer Systems.
