IDEXX Laboratories Named to BioTech Hall of Fame;
Attributes Success to Employee Innovation
WESTBROOK, Maine, May 1, 2008—IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. announces that it was inducted into the Biotech Hall of Fame for 2007, joining the ranks of leading biotech companies and individuals creating the vision for this fast-paced industry. IDEXX was recognized for its total contribution to the biotechnology industry as “a leader in innovative products and services for a variety of veterinary, food and water applications. Their companion animal and equine businesses combine biotechnology with medical devices and information technology to support veterinarians.”
IDEXX recently received and unveiled the award, announcing the achievement to its employees worldwide. “It is a privilege to share this recognition with each and every one of our 4500 employees worldwide,” said Jonathan Ayers, IDEXX Chief Executive Officer. “We are fortunate to have the highest caliber employees working for IDEXX, offering new inventive ideas and making a difference
in the biotechnology industry.”
Out of its expanding facility in the Five Star Industrial Park in Westbrook, Maine, IDEXX has grown into a leader in R&D, engineering, manufacturing and marketing.
