IDEXX Laboratories Introduces “Suite Stories”—A Contest to Win the Next-Generation IDEXX VetLab® Suite [Trade]
Grand prize includes the Catalyst Dx™ and SNAPshot Dx™ Analyzers, arriving early 2008

Westbrook, Maine, June 18, 2007—IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDXX), announces “Suite Stories,” a contest for veterinary practices to win the next-generation IDEXX VetLab® Suite. The next-generation IDEXX VetLab® Suite includes two extraordinary new analyzers—Catalyst Dx™ and SNAPshot Dx™—which will upgrade the IDEXX VetLab® Suite and revolutionize veterinary diagnostics. Arriving in early 2008, the Catalyst Dx™ and SNAPshot Dx™ Analyzers will provide revolutionary convenience, ease-of-use, speed-to-result and high throughput, catalyzing the practice of medicine for more timely patient care and efficiency. Results are simply and seamlessly integrated through the IDEXX VetLab® Station for hematology, chemistry, electrolytes, endocrinology, urinalysis, blood gas and, soon, coagulation.

IDEXX VetLab Suite

Any veterinary practice employee* in the United States can enter the contest by submitting stories explaining how their in-house laboratory made a difference for one or more patients. Participants who submit qualified entries will be eligible for a chance to win the grand prize next-generation IDEXX VetLab® Suite for their practice and one of many iPod-A-Day prize packages (2 GB iPod® nano and $25 iTunes® gift card) for themselves. The next-generation IDEXX VetLab® Suite is valued at approximately $50,000 USD and the iPod® prize package is valued at approximately $175 USD. Entries will be judged on originality, clarity, use of in-house diagnostic capabilities and case outcome. Seven semi-finalists will be chosen weekly and each will be awarded the iPod® prize package. At the end of the contest, twelve grand prize finalists will be chosen from the semi-finalists. Completed entries submitted electronically at www.suitestories.com or by fax to 1-207-556-8889 must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2007. Completed entries submitted by mail must be postmarked by September 30, 2007.
