Now Available at the IDEXX Learning Center: IDEXX VetTest® Chemistry Analyzer Certificate Course [Trade]
Stay up to date with new enhancements and best practices for the VetTest analyzer

Westbrook, Maine, February 6, 2007—IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDXX), announces the launch of the IDEXX VetTest® Chemistry Analyzer Certificate Course, an online training tool designed to help veterinary professionals stay up to date with best practices and enhancements to the VetTest analyzer. The course can be found at the IDEXX Learning Center, launched in October 2006 to provide veterinary professionals with easy access to online education, event registrations, and continuing education (CE) certification and tracking.

IDEXX VetTest Chemistry AnalyzerThe VetTest course enables clinic staff to leverage best practices in sample preparation, sample collection and related tasks to increase productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance patient care. The online program allows veterinary professionals to train where and when it is most convenient and keeps them abreast of the latest VetTest product enhancements, including the Urine P:C Ratio, use of the new lactate test, and eight-minute plasma results. Once purchased, the program allows for unlimited use, making it a useful continuing tool for both training and professional development.

“I’m very excited about this new educational offering from IDEXX,” says Erica Archer, Product Manager for the IDEXX VetLab® Suite. “We want veterinarians and technicians—in fact, everyone in the practice—to know that they can come to the IDEXX Learning Center for educational opportunities they won’t get anywhere else. We want not only to bring veterinary professionals together with specialists for the most up-to-date medical information, but also to help with the issues practices face every day. The VetTest course is one way we can help practices maintain consistency and gain efficiency in their workflows. It’s information that can be put to use right away.”

Along with its other benefits, the VetTest course will allow veterinarians and technicians to earn three RACE continuing education credits upon completion, so they can become more proficient VetTest users and, at the same time, continue to build their academic portfolio using a convenient and self-paced format.
