New IDEXX Learning Center to Provide Comprehensive Online Training [Trade]
Now clinic staff can easily access IDEXX training and seminars, and earn continuing education credits

Westbrook, Maine, November 9, 2006—IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDXX), announced the launch of the IDEXX Learning Center (www.idexxlearningcenter.com), a service that provides veterinary professionals with easy access to online education, event registrations, and continuing education (CE) certification and tracking.

This new Web-based, on-demand training delivery method allows veterinary clinic staff to log in to individual accounts, access and complete courses, receive certificates of completion, and view/upload their training histories. The wide range of course options will include the popular full-staff training sessions for IDEXX Cornerstone® practice-management software, IDEXX VetTest® Chemistry Analyzer certification programs, and continuing education learning opportunities for managing protocols related to disease screening and diagnoses.

“IDEXX developed the online learning center to help support practices in keeping up with current industry trends, educating staff on the use of our diagnostic products and services, and running their practices more efficiently,” said IDEXX Laboratories CEO Jon Ayers. “Now, any staff member can get online anytime, from any computer, and register for live Web-based seminars and self-paced continuing education courses. They can track and maintain transcripts that detail their personal educational histories, map a course for future learning, and much more.”

Cornerstone practice management software training, IDEXX VetTest Chemistry Analyzer certification, and information on continuing education and events will be among the first releases on the IDEXX Learning Center. The IDEXX Learning Center will serve as the educational hub for upcoming training programs, and will allow users to establish a comprehensive record of all the courses that they have taken.
